A Russian silk choli in a diamond lattice of magenta and purple, worked in gold, with checked sleeves; beneath it, a lorus boti silk lehenga composed panel by panel in parrot green, magenta, purple and saffron, each scattered with gold buti like petals carried on the wind. A sheer parrot-green organza dupatta completes it. Made for the mehndi, in colours meant to be seen.
